I know the facts but will spell them out clearly and slowly for you to understand, as opposed to making offensive remarks.

A large number of migrant workers are coming over legally under Eu rules, they work over here for using our transport systme, NHS and other services and travel back to thier home country frequently enough to ensure they pay no tax on the earnings they make.

Since these folk have no intention of living here permanently they are quite content to share rented acomodation etc. This means they can therfore aford to work for less and inturn puts BRITISH citizens out of work. The consruction industry is an example.

    Perhaps this clarifys things?

No Pro Gard. I didn't call you racist. I said you were talking racist c**p. We don't pay anything to under qualified unemployed immigrants from eastern Europe. If they are allowed benefits it is charged back to their home country under the EU clearing system. You've been looking at the pictures in the Daily Star again haven't you?

Our welfare system is not as generous as potential immigrants and potential NF politicians make out. Like the NHS (which when it's wrong I will happily criticise) the welfare state has a lot of faults. (Like those throughout the whole of Europe).

    Just don't make up rubbish.

Another thing to consider is many of the older generation who served in the second world war were GIVEN ciagarets as part of thier ration. The dangers of smoking whilst known were not openly broadcast.

A very similar isue that is becoming a real burden is asbestos related cancers. Again at the time some knew of dangers but these were not broadcast.

I know a guy who worked in an asbestos factory in the 70s, they were given a glass of milk before the shift to 'coat the throat' unfortunately it didnt prevent the workers breathing the dust in.

    John,

    Whats NF?

The cost of imigrants for example to the police is not charged back to thier home country. As to the NHS I stand corected.

BTW I read the Daily Mail.

Moving along the same lines Pro, I'm sure in years to come MDF will be the new asbestos, but thats beside the point.

    On the immigrant/migrant worker thing.
Why do they all want to come here, why is there a massive camp of them in France all trying to cross the channel?
There must be some advantage in getting to the UK that does not exist in Europe.

I dont think they all have John, some maybe, but there are a lot that just think the streets are paved with gold.
I dont know what you get on your local news up that way, but being near to the tunnel and the ferries we see lots of it.
Lorrys stopping at laybys and illegals seen running off, never to be seen again.
Its not just newspaper talk, it happens.
You could argue that the numbers are small, but these are just the ones that come to light, how much is not seen?
For the government its a great situation, we get all these people that do the meanial tasks at a low wage keeping down inflation etc.
But it can only be a short term thing, once they get used to a higher standard of living they wont want the work either.
Where will we import labour from then?
We will not, in the end be thanked for this, and I can see it going down in history as a 21st century form of slavery.
