New Potatoes

    Yes they will grow bigger. Mine have doubled in size since I started this thread and very few small ones now.

      Got some good wilja seconds this week :phew: My sapro mira plants have flowered and they still have 6weeks to grow, should I pick off the flowers or just leave then to do their thing? Any advise would be appreciated thanks

      Pick off the flowers if you have time, it will make a slight difference in that the plant will not waste energy flowering. I quite like potato flowers they add a splash of colour to my veg patch :)

        Thanks JWK. Il do that. I also think they are nice, they definitely add a splash of colour to the garden. :)

        Gracious @JWK I had no idea you should pick the flowers off a potato plant :doh:! It makes sense now you come to mention it, :dbgrtmb:.
        The flowers are very pretty & I have to agree they do make the plot look nice :dbgrtmb:, I will try to remember this for next year! :dbgrtmb: Top tip thanks :hapydancsmil:
