That's good advice. Especially after I and my colleagues got played as fools by a skilled con man in a previous job (cost me £9000 that little error of judgement and misplaced trust).

This company is legit. They've been trading for a few years and are part of a larger group. I don't just have their word for it, they've been thoroughly checked out:)

Done this. Been in a new job for just over a week now, and so far I'm enjoying it thoroughly.

Been out on my bike a few times. Been for a few walks. Not quite got as far as leaving the car behind all the time though, but a small matter of a major change of family structure in the form of a new arrival has made the car just too convenient. Also, more recently, as in the last few days, wife and I have bought tennis bats and have taken up playing tennis (or at least our unskilled interpretation of the game).

Should have worked harder on this one. We're one good lad down now unfortunately.

Done. Well sort of. My new job is a bit of a side step from what I usually do. I feel quite positive about it.

Done. Although I let it grow back again. I've decided to bin the beard and tash, and just go for designer stubble.

I spent almost a whole FIVER at the weekend in the charity shops. I have a nice new pair of jeans and a nice new polo shirt. Well when I say new, I mean a lot newer than all my other clothes:)

All in all. I seem to be more or less on course.
