I went a couple of weeks ago with P with a P - a nice supportive friend and thoroughly enjoyed it, but had a stinker of a cold ever since!! It's all these germs I was suddenly exposed to, not having had much of a cold for the last 5 years or so!

So - good idea, Rosa, but I'm already doing that - any more tips?

I can just about swim D but would like to be more confident. I gave up smoking 4 years ago this New Years eve but have put on quite a bit of weight. Am now going to try to lose that!!! And I am going to try to keep calm more and not get so stewed up about things - Im going to be an Ice Queen ;)

My resolution for next year.....well I have all the equipment, all the good intentions to get back into shape after having a lazy year off and watching others work, so yes, exercise, exercise, exercise!

Mind you, next year never comes? :D :D

God bless him I loved my Father
    BUT
I hated my piano lessons and having to practice.

Each year he would say to me on New Years Eve - if I did four hours practising that he would let me of my practising for the rest of the year.

I can't believe how thick I was - I used to do it!!!

anyway my New Years resolution is to dupe someone else with the same trick.

Thanks for the offer DAG - I'm absolutely determined that I'll get there this time, and with your help as well as that of P with a P, I'll do it......

After all, if I can give up the booze, I can do anything! :D
