I have found some plants in my 'border' (term used loosely, as it hasn't been touched by me!)
and I am wondering what they are.

One bulb'ish type has been identified by my mother as Lilly of the Valley (how nice!)
but the other even she doesn't know (and she's quite a vivid gardener).

So any guesses? It may well be some sort of weedish plant, but it's very pretty!

I was going to ask if they come in different styles then, as it isn't the same as my planted Viola's, but I have googled it and found it under "Common Dog-violet (Viola riviniana)" and that it is a Wild Viola!

Not too bad then, wild Viola and Lilly of the Valley growing in my garden :)

    Thanks, I will!

The Ivy will at last be gone totally tomorrow (bagging it didn't work; garden chipper came at last today, but is a faulty one so now have to wait till tomorrow!).
Then I can start sorting the lawn out (feed it and de-weed it), dig out the Ivy's huge last root that's waiting to get rid, and start de-weeding the border and sort that out.

Then it's on to design, buying at least a clematis for the wall trellis, and buying maybe some arches for the gate!
