Looks OK to me and early enough in the season for anything squashed to recover - well done that man!

[IMG] Not bad Paladin, are you paying any towards it? :D

Seriously, doesn't look as if they have damaged your border. Is it better than you expected?

The damage was minimal but it looks so..was it Pete who said...urban?
At least it's not going to be stained and it makes the plants show well.
I will be looking for some plants to plant against the other 100 or so feet soon... ;)

Paladin your border looks lovely - I can't get over how much colour you have got there already. What have you got in flower.

I have almost nothing out yet, not even Aquelegia which I think I can see in yours.

[IMG] Well as you say minimal damage... Thank goodness...!! [IMG] If it isn't being stained it will weather in well. I know what you mean though about it looking a bit stark & urban... You do have planty of time to start planning some stuff to scramble over it, or put in front to detract from the uniformity.... Looking at your beautiful border you won't have a problem..... :D

I don't think it looks too bad at all! It looks a good quality fence and you can have lots of fun planning things to grow against it! [IMG]

I think it looks quite good and if little damage done, you've got away very lightly - and climbers and planting will break it up nicely. Though look for some evergreen or variegated evergreen for winter. Tall grasses should look good against it as well.

[IMG] Got a couple of spare Moonflower vines if you like Paladin. Flowers open at night & smell heavenly.. I posted in the Morning glories thread about it. Also got a spare passion flower vine. No idea which one, friend gave me the seed a couple of years ago & I now have some lovely healthy plants. Trying to remember whether blue & white or purple & white flower... No problem to package them ..... [IMG]
