Some years ago my O.H. and I joined the M4 at the Welsh end Pont Abraham, there was roadworks in progress and bollards everywhere, the usual thing, they were channelling the traffic to use the one side of the motorway whilst resurfacing the other. We were in a luton van the person in front of us must have panicked at the confusion of the bollards, and tried to get back to the lane we were in, there were bollards flying everywhere, even some thrown under our vehicle, my husband was struggling to control the vehicle, and not tip over, I looked in my side mirror and could see an arctic behind us, he had blocked the motorway, he was stopping anything from passing him and preventing what could have been a serious incident.

Part of the reason that the Passat and I parted company, is that the fault that it had would see me lose power (albeit momentary) at the very time when I was asking for it and needing it - - had a Range Rover up my exhaust pipe in lane three and in fairness to the driver he simply could not understand why I was going and then suddenly wasn't.
