That is such a shame, longk. How many of the potential losses were seed-raised? Don't know about you, but I'm always that bit more philosophical about something that I can replace by starting again.....

Anyway............... it got worse. I've just spent the day at A&E with the other half after she fell down the stairs. Extreme pain, paramedics and then blues and twos on a spinal board. End result is three broken ribs and monster bruising!

 

Ohhh what a grim start. Best wishes to Mrs longk and hope 2015 gets much, much better for you both!

Not the best of starts to the new year for you Longk. I wish your other half a speedy recovery.

On a brighter note, you may not be able to replace those plants you've lost but you can enjoy filling your greenhouse with new ones.

 

Just go and smash a wine glass on the floor because bad things always come in threes and then your luck will turn, Longk.

Someone did not bow to Hubris (Goddess of False Pride).
So sorry about your O.H. Ribs are difficult things to deal with. Rest and keeping still are about all one can do.
Up to you now to do the TLC bit.

Christ - she's stuffed!! Having broken a large number of bones myself (including vertebrae and ribs) my "it doesn't hurt that much" comments are not going down well Mind you, she may have me whooped in the biggest bruise ever stakes!
