That is such a shame, longk. How many of the potential losses were seed-raised? Don't know about you, but I'm always that bit more philosophical about something that I can replace by starting again.....

Thanks all. The Mackaya and Ferraria where seed raised. The succulents bought or swapped.

Anyway............... it got worse. I've just spent the day at A&E with the other half after she fell down the stairs. Extreme pain, paramedics and then blues and twos on a spinal board. End result is three broken ribs and monster bruising!

Not the best of starts to the new year for you Longk. :doh:I wish your other half a speedy recovery.

On a brighter note, you may not be able to replace those plants you've lost but you can enjoy filling your greenhouse with new ones. :)

Just go and smash a wine glass on the floor because bad things always come in threes and then your luck will turn, Longk.

Sorry for your troubles from an Oxfordshire native (although long since no longer there.)

Thanks all. Her muscle spasm is easing a little which is making the ribs less painful.

                Whereabouts were you?

Someone did not bow to Hubris (Goddess of False Pride).
So sorry about your O.H. Ribs are difficult things to deal with. Rest and keeping still are about all one can do.
Up to you now to do the TLC bit.

I never was very good at kissing ass

Christ - she's stuffed!! Having broken a large number of bones myself (including vertebrae and ribs) my "it doesn't hurt that much" comments are not going down well :heehee: Mind you, she may have me whooped in the biggest bruise ever stakes!
