Ok, how do you get a frame around your pictures?

    Hi Redstar
What you'll see as "Frames" in this the "un-enhanced" section of the GC photo competitions are 'borders'. In my case I use Paint Shop Pro which has a facility to draw borders of more or less any colour or thickness. There are other ways to achieve it, but using PSP is the easiest and quickest for me.

'Frames' as such are not allowed in this section of the comp, but some of the photo processing packages provide the facility to add frames in a variety of styles. You can also create a frame effect by adding two or more 'borders' of different colours and/or widths.

    Hope this explains.
Oops - just realised :doh:these last two posts should be in the discussion section. Could one of our Mods please shift 'em:ntwrth:

Thanks for your answer, Dave. So I am still pondering the topic of this month. Nothing is coming up around here click yet. Have some days left, maybe some inspiration will surface yet.

Ta treasure:thku: BTW that's the first time I've 'asled' anyone. Didn't hurt though:lollol:

Thanks WOO. It's been too windy, cold, wet and horrible for outdoor pics so I've been experimenting indoors.

    Hi everyone,

The thing that brought this topic to my mind was an old photo of mine that showed a child reflecting on something but I then thought that it could be expanded as a topic to include a reflection in a mirror, water, shiny surface etc.

This was the picture that brought it to mind. :thumb: :) :)

Dave that rose is stunning.:luv: I had no ideas at all for this and just decided not to bother when I lit the fire tonight and wandered in five minutes later in the dark. I had the devil's own job keeping the dog out of the way:hehe:
