Thank you all for your kind comments. The standard of entries was very impressive.

It was one of those lucky shots of being in the right place at the right time and having the camera handy. The camera used that day (high quality and very much more expensive than I can afford) belonged to a friend.

I enjoyed playing around with it for a few days and I could easily have forgotten! to give it back to him again.

I am now looking to see if Santa, or more accurately the bank who look after my pension, can run to a higher res camera than I normally use as I was totally smitten.

Platanoides - what a great pic and welldone Hornbeam and Glenw. I must confess I have not been joining in or even watching the Photo Competition as it takes so long to download and I just haven't had the time lately.

BUT - I am expecting to have Broadband installed in the next couple of weeks - before Christmas anyway and then I can join in the competition again!

Well done to you three, all fab photos.
The competition seems to get harder each month, so it's a good challenge for us all :D

What's it going to be for December I wonder!!!!

"BUT - I am expecting to have Broadband installed in the next couple of weeks - before Christmas anyway and then I can join in the competition again!" - that was what I expected at the beginning of December!

Very disappointed that Broadband has not arrived in time for Christmas - in fact haven't heard a word from Onetel. Oh well, hoping to join in the next month's Photo Competition.

    :( :( :( :( :( :(
