    Me too, though I have an idea that it's not an irrational aversion - I just haven't quite figured out the rationality of it yet ...

    But then, I've no aversion to coppicing!

      I would say English oak but look around for the other oaks near by it's got to be same as them , you can then compare leaf shape and leaf stalk length
