I went to Denman College (WI College) for 5 days last Sept. and we did the Gardens of Oxford all of which we thoroughly enjoyed - the Botanical Gardens being one of them. This year when we go to Denman we are doing the Morse Walk - also looking forward to that too which includes some of the College Gardens.

      Don't we all!!!

Or how common plants from years ago are rare today.............

      Do they need full sun?

      Too late for this then..............

Surprisingly, longk, the answer is No:snork: Mine is in the margins of my pond which, during part of the day, is in shade. I've seen them in many "Big House" gardens where there are garden streams and they're on the banks of them. There are some on the banks of a stream in a Wood where it's very shady at Arley Hall in Cheshire. They're also very hardy. I bought mine as tiny plants from a Aquatic Nursery near Ness in the early 90's and they have been a very reliable bargain!!:snork:

Not sure yet. I think it'll involve rocks, baskets with compost and overflow holes...............
