    Agree with the Kew pics!

This was best I could do this year for large scale leaf colour, rain and gales are stripping the leaves fast now.

And another I decided not to enter although I do like it:

    Varigations on a theme.

I'm glad people like the Kew photos - some of you might remember my avatar ages ago of the Glasshouses there? That was taken on the same glorious day. The cotinus just inside the gates, to the left, was spectacular, and everything looked amazing. It's a beautiful place - I'd love to see it in the spring some year, the only season I haven't been there....

;) It is a great place I agree dendy. I am going to take a friend there next year, so I am looking forward to that immensley.. I am just re-watching my "Year at Kew" DVDs with old "Titchy" I have got as far as the Pumpkin display at the moment..!!! I would love to have the job of keeping the Palms, Ferns & waterlilies, or of course the arbo' side of it.. Those trees are wonderful, would love to climb them...!!! [IMG] [IMG]

Thanks Marley. I rushed out with me camera earlier as a break from endless pot washing.

I really can't decide between them
It's going to have to be 'names in a hat' again, and then vote really quickly so I can't change my mind  :(

Very difficult but got it down to 7. Reducing this to three will be hard. I think I'll have to do it by the quick look method and see which of the seven produce the biggest "cor, that says something".
I may well miss out on voting anyway as we are setting of tomorrow for Aviemore - to catch the autumn colours! Too late for this competition though! We'll be camped in a mixed birch/Scots pine /beech wood and if previous experience is anything to go by, the colours should be spectacular.
