Hi PeterS, it is a Sony Cybershot 7.2MP DSC-P150. It is a really good 'point and shoot' camera and wasn't over expensive. It has a micro zoom focus for fixed close ups which I use most of the time for gardeing pictures. I can't believe the difference in the light in the garden with the current weather. One minute it is bright and blue the next grey and overcast. The photos can look warm and inviting but in some you can feel the chill in the air. [IMG]

Photo 6 ? If I have counted right it is the accacia tree?

Tree Ferns need the crown protecting from frost so keep your eye on the weather. After frosts become more regular I will remove the leaves to cover my smaller ones and get out the sheets and pots to cover the tall ones.

I am on for the next 10 minutes or so if you want to PM me. [IMG]

    Hi BM

The first photo after the initial Banana ones.... dark green feathery like leaves.

If it is the Accacia, which one do you have (I will check back to your tree posting)... its evergreen??

The gardener has now finished, but we are calling him back to "tweak" the pond - we are just not 100% happy with how he has left it. This is the only grumble though....
It is now that its finished, we suddenly realised just how much bare beds there are now... going from one tiny one to what seems to be 1/2 the garden!!!! Where DO I start!!!???

As the first run of petals has fallen and the bees and wasps have been busy pollenating, I now have lots of bananas. As the weather continues to stay warm I am hopeful that they will get bigger than last year.

Hope you enjoy the new pictures.

lookin' good!!! Would they be edible if they ever ripened?

My 4 bananas are now 10 - so I will have a real "Banana Grove" next year!!!!! (doubt mine would rival yours, though)

Dragged Mr HB down the GC at the weekend to check out the greenhouses.... and what did he spot???? A rather nice Acacia Dealbata at a cracking price!!!!!! It is now sat in the carport waiting to be planted next to the trampoline!!! with very little prompting from me.... (so he thinks it was his idea to buy it!!! [IMG] ) Fun and games getting it back in the car.... he had the pot on his lap, the kiddies were squashed over one side, and the branches carefully eased around the estate end!!! :D
