Old age in dogs

    Every 6 months!

    Gosh, things must have changed since I was in practice 4 years ago! Honestly, I understood that the earliest it may be required is 8 months after the first course in extreme circumstances. I would suggest that if it needed doing sooner, it may not be the best course of treatment for that particular individual. Different practices follow different protocols and perhaps it has more recently been found to be more efficacious every 6 months. The most recent data sheets don't specify repeat course time periods.
