I always liked the Joan Collins/Leonard Rossiter Cinzano ads.

    Some absolute classics :thumb:

I think the Tango ads featuring Tangoman were brilliant, simple but effective :lollol:

Classics indeed!..I loved the Clarks shoes ad with the little kid saying 'Mummy said I'll be a proper little madam'. Can't find it though:scratch:

Wow - memories! How fantastic were they? Now we're so bombarded with them we take no notice.

I'm being lazy and haven't tried to get any but I used to love (see if you remember too) -

the one for 'Shippams' tea - the music and little song used to have one of my friends & me in fits. I still have no idea why, but we used to sing it everytime it came on. My dad used to look at me strangely but I promise we weren't on anything!

That Cadbury's Smash one - I wanted one of those!

Boots 17 - it used to make up the girls faces in tiger like stuff. I would sit transfixed even though I was probably in my 20's & didn't use much make-up.

Remember most of those you are talking about. Thanks for the memories, ooh that's a song isn't it:)

Lovely subject. Are there any members here who are young (under 25 maybe) who remember when adverts weren't so common? Have I expressed that correctly? Don't know but someone will:)

    cheers
