    Good for her.
I'm a great believer that babies should be with their Mothers .
But the baby sitting will come.
    I have 3 grand Children
A boy of 5 and 3 year old boy girl twins, I baby sat the twins yesterday.
    I love it.
    They are so funny.
Your little Grand son will be that age in the wink of an eye.
    Enjoy him.

hi lyn, When my girls were babies they were with me all the time as they grew a little older my mother used to look after them for me when i worked, I very rarely used a babysitter just good old mum, who i miss dearly, she passed away 14 years ago, she would of loved to see oilver, he would of reminded her of my daughter when she was a baby, shes probably watching over him at this time.
my daughter is going back to work and her hubbys mum is looking after him as she lives close to them, iff i had lived closer to my daughter i would of gladly looked after him, never mind i might get to take him one evening over night when hes a little older.

Rosa, I was lucky enough to be able to be a full time Mom to my children and I loved every second of it.
Only their Grand Mothers ever looked after them for me.
My Daughter is an NNEB and she works part time as a pre school assistant and can take the twins with her most times, the older one is at school.
She gets the holidays off with the children.
She never leaves them with anyone but me.
It must be very hard having to leave your child with anyone.
But needs must and in this day and age it's not easy, paying your bills and everything.
The girl over the road from me as had to go back to work leaving her 6 month old baby, the poor girl cries every day when she leaves him. :(

The over night baby sitting is lovely but terrible, I never sleep.
I keep listening to see if they are breathing. :D
I hope you get the same pleasure with your little baby as I have with mine.
Children are special but Grand Children are extra special.
You can give them back when you have had enough. :D

    thanks marley, lyn and dee.
lyn my daughter works for the council and she has maternity leave for 9 months so she pretty lucky, when she goes back to work the end of this year she is cutting her hours down to 3 days so she will still take on the role at being at home mom.
great support from her hubby who has a good job, i guess some girls arent as lucky as her and its a shame for that girl across the road from you and others in that girls situation.

Rosa how lovely your new little chap is!

I have to admit I really like the 2nd picture where Oliver looks like he's sticking his tongue out, the 3rd picture where it looks like he is smiling though I think it could be wind and of course the 4th with his mummy what a lovely pair they are together indeed. [IMG]

I bet nana just couldn't stop herself from smiling at the little chap, oh the joys of being a granny I can't wait for it all to come my way.....just don't tell my boys that! :D Hel.xxx.

helen, I said to my daughter it could be wind but she has said hes taking notice now and smiles, he was smiling when i was talking to him and i dont think it was wind, babies are more advanced these days.
I was overjoyed when i saw him i just couldnt get over how he reminded me of my daughter when she was a baby, i must find a pic of her to compare.
