That was a very good way to spend a couple of weeks watching Telly. Watched more in 14 days that I do the rest of the year.

Will UK TV coverage now revert to the recession, budget deficit, trade gap, unemployment, euro zone crisis, wars, crop failures, etc., or continue to dwell upon Team GB successes and cover forthcoming paralympics events to keep us all smiling?

Thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. Feel a bit bereft now it's over, but hopefully the next generation will enjoy the legacy.

Enjoyed the whole Olympics from the opening ceromony to the closing ceromony. What a performance by team GB, sports personality of the year will be interesting this year. I was a bit negative about the Olympics in Britain I thought we would become a bit of a laughing stock over it, but hats off brilliant job all round. My only criticism would be why do we drag singers who clearly cannot sing anymore out on occasions like the opening and closing ceremonies Macartney, Madness and Ray Davies were painful to listen to. Apart from that what a great Olympics.
