    I quite agree. I'm a northerner but we moved to London during my secondary school years where my accent was humorously ribbed ALL THE TIME. I particularly remember being approached by a little cockney who stated 'You or-a larn to speak the Qeeeen's English, you or-a.'
    Oh the irony and the humour.

    (translation 'or-a' is 'ought to'.)

    Yes, love Boris too NurseWhen and was great to see him act normally
    and not be all pompous.

    Amused me when Mr Brown gave his speech saying what 'we' were
    going to do for our Olympics. Was he insinuating that he would still be PM? lol!

    Well, here's to 2012 and hope it doesn't break the bank :D

    Well, living where I do we're going to see an awful lot of it. I'm terribly afraid that the beer prices are going to go through the roof:D
