              It really was good and not too artsy fartsy like some I have seen. Very entertaining!

              Brilliant. And then the fantastic fireworks with Pink Floyd booming out into the night. We have a tendency to put ourselves down but - dare I say it? - I think we did things rather well.

                      Nothing new. Macca became cringeworthy when he lost John Lennon (Mull of Kintyre and the Frog Song, anyone?). But he is still a huge cultural icon and he got the crowd singing along, so he has my vote. Think of him as the embarrassing uncle who threatens to spoil the wedding but ends up adding to the occasion.
