Online suppliers of compost and manure?

    I live on London without a car and trying to buy mulch in bulk is proving a nightmare. The usual places like B&Q and Homebase don't deliver, and taxi drivers are understandably not overly happy about transporting six bags of manure...

    I can see Amazon sells some but it's twice the cost of the stores.

    Has anyone else found an online supplier of growing media?

    Have you tried Wickes ? They do free delivery over £50

    Do you have a milk and more milkman? Our one delivers bags of garden compost or bark or top soil and there is no delivery charge.

      I used compost direct for a bulk bag of mulch which was pretty good.

      Not sure if they go out as far as you but there also thecompostcentre which is up the road from me (but sometime have long lead times)
