I've just ordered a Gertrude Jekyll and a Sceptre'd Isle (both David Austin) for collection from Altrincham Garden Centre. Have to wait until they contact me to let me know they've arrived for collection. Taps feet impatiently [IMG]

They are both on the list of David Austin's most fragrant roses.

I just love the shape and colour of the blooms on Sceptre'd Isle - absolutely stunning :wub2:

I have no idea what varieties they are, but we have these climbers on an old red brick wall in the garden at work.
It's a challenge to get the best out of them as the whole bed is shaded for most of the day by a very large Sycamore, the wet weather this year has certainly helped produce vigorous growth and a good show of blooms.

This was supposed to be a Double Delight, but obviously isn't.

The blooms are quite small, so am guessing some sort of patio rose. Smells lovely :wub2:

David Austin rose - Teasing Georgia. I wasn't going to go for yellow but they had one of these on display climbing up a frame and it was stunning, so I couldn't resist :wub2:

In any case I ended up buying a selection of pinks and yellows, which I think go lovely together.
