opinions please

    Hi Celia.

    We have similar problems. My driveway is all gravel and the grass and weeds get in. I pull them out but leave little things like pansies to grow in the gravel as they stay very small because they don't get any nutrients. I have to agree with Pete and the rest who said that the grass should come out. It spoils the driveway and can make it look as if it is neglected.

    In the end though, it is up to you and we seem to be rather divided here.

    Hi Kryssy, I do tend to pull the dandelions out but the scarlet pimpernel, pansies, speedwell and something I don't know the name of which looks very pretty are left. Eventually we will re-gravel the drive, I think the weeds are growing because there is too much soil and not enough gravel :D

    I think it looks very...can you call a drive way quaint?? I think its lovely but if it were mine I'd probably be changing it - thats because I can't leave things alone! Bear in mind I was doing housework 2 days after giving birth :D

    Your garden looks lovely. I want mine done now :(

    It looks superb as it is celia. Now I know what a cornish hedge is too thanks. John
