I had one of those once scotkat.
Got a feeling its more a foliage plant.
I know they flower but not as exciting as most orchids. [IMG]

KG, I've seen that plant before but cant make out where, give us a clue.

No idea, pete! I thought it was a wild orchid, or is it perhaps one of these fly-catching flowers? But the leaves are wrong, aren't they? Perhaps the leaves don't go with the flowers at all. Anyway, I saw them in quite a few places while we were going up the mountain.

The flower seems right but not the leaves. From other links, a 3-parted leaf is shown.

Pete, it is an orchid ... haven't looked up your arisaema though.

I bought mine last year and the flowers are very insipid but my plant has doubled in size. It does need very low light, 90% which is difficult for me obviously but I keep it in my outdoor living room against the south facing wall, ie, no sun hitting it.

It has lovely velvety leaves but, as mentioned above, very insipid flowers as far as orchids go.

What one are you referring to LoL?
I know Scotkat's is an orchid, but I'm not sure that KG's is.

The Jewel Orchid Ludicia, pete. I posted a pic of mine which has deep burgundy coloured velvet leaves.

I haven't got a clue what Sis is talking about. :D
