    Well, my Phaliwatsits, at least one of them, has suddenly burst into life with lots of flower buds maturing very quickly. So am I finally going to get some flowers? Lots of positive thoughts rquired ASAP, please [​IMG]

    My Jewel Orcid is now looking as if it should be repotted roots are coming out of pot.

    The compost it has come potted up in just looks like normal compost.

    Should or would I be better repotting with orchid compost?

    They like plenty of air to the roots Kat, they are epiphytes. If you have some bark chippings try mixing about 50/50 with compost. Mrs S uses a mixture of bark, perlite, charcoal and silver sand but Mr S thinks that is OTT.
