looking forward to seeing your photos, PL - there's a message from photobucket saying they're doing a little work right now, and the photos will be back soon..... It's the same at the moment with Hornbeam's cat in the 16 going on 17 thread

Did'nt know about Chiltersn Dendro, Chesham is in Bucks so not so far away from me, I have added it to my favorites.

Good job there are lots of rescue centres around, I heard of a women who is moving and has two dogs, one a 8yr old Dobe whom she is giving up but taking the other one with her, what must the poor dog feel like, so sad and confusing for it. Some dogs that are loved by their owners don't make 8.

Can see your pics now,Purple Lady - all three of your pets! They all look friendly and happy!
Sue - you are so right! But I have to admit, I've had to make use of the RSPCA myself at one point, when the doctors told me that it was bad for my youngest son to have dogs and cats aroun, because of his lung problems, when he was a baby. I paid the amount the RSPCA asked to guarantee they wouldn't put Esme down (a long-legged Jack Russell cross!, but they didn't operate that sort of scheme for cats. They said they would keep them together and try to re-home them together. It was heart-breaking - but sometimes there isn't a choice.

Rosa - no way - not giving away any of my secrets!!

Yes - it's difficult to get a good photo of her - I like this one though!! But when she leans, it does make changing gear, or puting on the handbrake more interesting! Hope you like her beautiful red harness!
