Within the next few weeks we will find many dead young foxes on the main road between Sutton park nature reserve and where I live.
    It's very sad.
But it keeps the numbers down so they are not culled
I don't like the idea of hunting them but I'm a city girl.
We have them in our gardens and they do dig the lawns up ,break fences , set the dogs off in the night and make a lot of noise when mating around Jan/feb time.
But they are nice to see.
    Lovely photos.

Hi Pal Yes But haven't seen them for a couple of months now ,I am hoping its because the Cubs are still to young to leave,But a majority of people have been complaining to the local Council saying they are Vermin and a Nuisance ,there is some talk of using Gas on them or having a Cull ,I will do my best to protect them but I am in the Minority now but will fight to the end against Bureaucracy and Petty Foxism :D:)

Aint folk strange....Wonder how they would manage in Bear country:confused:...!

I have a visit now and again from an old Dog Fox who lies under my Pampas Grass right next to a public footpath which runs through my garden. He only runs off through the gap in the fence when I point a camera at him:D

How lovely for you WOO having foxes breeding near to your garden. I love them and hate the persecution of them.

I would be a little worried about leaving the cats out at night though, I would wonder if a very hungry dog fox may try for one of them if they were caught by surprise?

Do you have any photos of cubs yet??
