What a stunner Dalbuie - such a handsome, kind face - Im sure he will settle down eventually - he will realise hes on to a good thing ;) I trained my springers to 'leave' my rabbits, Im sure you can get Shadow and your cats to be friends [IMG] Mind you, I would NEVER leave the dogs with the buns when Im not there, even for a second

Shadow is a handsome dog but its not been a good day today. We have had to put up some temporary fencing at the back of the house, ( waiting for gates to be made, long story!)My hubby took him out the front garden this morning to do the loo, Shadow managed to find a gap in the hedge and run off ingnoring my hubby completely he ran after a lady walking past, got her to stop him but he ran over the road which was a bit scary. We have also discovered that he is very jealouse if we speak to our other dogs or cats and tries to push them away. I burnt my hand on the new extending lead we bought today(don't ask)! :( yup been one of those days and its still early. Never mind [IMG]

Yes Gogs he has. I think we will just have to be very patient and understanding, he is a lovely friendly dog to everyone its other animals he seems to have problems with, and we are working on the manners. [IMG] He doesn't seem to bark, he has a strange sort of howl. [IMG] which the boys find very ammusing. ;)

oh dear, looks like he is going to run off, my rosa would do the same as cavaliers are noted for it, so i wouldnt take her off her lead at any time.
shadow will take time to adjust and when he realises the other pets are there to stay he will get the picture, dont give up as i,m sure you wont at this early stage, you and your hubby will take time to adjust also, things i,m sure will turn out ok.
