      Thank you Annie. :) It is beautiful and when the sun shines it's at it's best although with the exception of this summer that doesn't happen very often.

          Thank you Armandii, that's much appreciated. :) You said you keep going back over the pics, well that gave me the inclination to do the same thing and there is something missing. There's not a picture of the islands most famous attraction and I'll have to do something about that. I'm not going to tell you what it is but if you can't guess then you'll have to watch this space and wait for the picture to appear in the not to distant future. :biggrin:

              Here it is then! The worlds largest working Water Wheel 'Lady Isabella' in Laxey. I've also found a video for members who would like to know a little about it. :)

                Maughold (pro. Mackold) church. Built circa 1000/1100AD. It's had restoration work down the centuries but is still going strong.
