Overwintering Geraniums (Pelagoniums)

    I took cuttings from mine. Geraniums would not survive a winter anywhere outside here so that is what I do. I have 1/2 a dozen cuttings from the year before's cuttings from the .... and so all the way back about 6 years to cuttings given my by a friend's husband.

    Mine are down in the cellar, under lights and keeping company with some Dragon's Wing Begonias.

    I like the variegation on yours @pete :)

      I am able to leave mine in hanging baskets, and in pots on the ground, but if extended rough weather (lots of saturating rain or high winds) is imminent, I might move the baskets to a sheltered area for the duration. I am in an area of the UK with mild weather. Forecasts rarely suggest temperatures below - 10°c, more usually -5°c being the coldest.
