I have a wee baby Cupido popping up

 

Bought a new bigger pot for mine, have to thin it all out and put in new pot.

 

In just a few days, it will be joined by others. Once it has reported back that it's good on top.

 

You may find it's crammed with corms - each wanting space of it's own!

 

yes, I can already see it is that way, reason I bought a new larger pot etc.

 

this one (4 days ago ) had just the middle scout up - and here it is 4 days on :

It's gonna be a cracker Spruce. Will have lots of babies late Autumn/Winter,

 

I have been taking the flowers off ... thought it may waeken the plant ?

So after I thinned out mine. I put a batch in the ground, and along some edges around smaller hostas and some back in a huge wider pot. they are up and purple and full again. the area I placed them in the ground are closer to the house in hopes that come winter the house heat will keep that area a little warmer so they will appear next year. but if not, oh well.

 

Nope I never did, they don't look weakened to me ever .
