Well....what a day! 6 hours driving 315 miles and only 3 hours working...And just missed the a hold up between J8 &10 M25 Nice part of the country from what I saw but what is going on with the construction south of Wisley?
Its the driving that takes it out of you Nick. Don't know whats on South of Wisley, but my mate & I nearly bought it there one night. He had just got his first car, a vauxhall viva, and wanted to see what it could do. The A3 was quiet at night 30 years ago & that stretch was long and straight, but totally unlit. He was looking at his speedo & reading off the speed, "97.....98...99....100, we're doing a ton!" At that moment, the headlights revealed chevrons right across the previously straight road. In a split second he managed to swerve to avoid them & went round them on 2 wheels. It was the begining of work on a slipway for a new road, the M25.
Not work today, just a fun day, with my Son's dog Max..Mrs Pal and I walked down from Broadway Tower to home with him and we were all tuckered out I can tell you!!
OMG.....It's right smack bang in the middle of beautiful countryside:DOH:We couldn't make out what was needed why anyone could destroy such a place......and it's all for a tea and a wee
Remember this? With all of those 'cheese blocks' :D Well here they are all stacked up to make the fire.....ok if you like this sort of feature Well, the glazing is complete too and just in time because we're off to Centre parc in Longleat for a long weekend.Mrs Pal needs a break!
Lovely views Pal,I remember them well when we were there this year Hope you both have a lovely relaxing break. It sounds like it is a long time coming so enjoy every minute of itI was actually looking at Center Parks on the net the other day and quiet like the tree house lodges but can't for the life of me remember which one they were at but were all fully booked:D
Well, that was a nice break Too short..too hilly...and too dangerous with speed crazy cyclists every where! Not that much wildlife in the forest except this most wild critter who adopted us...something to do with Mrs Pal feeding it I expect:D And who do you think we met there????????????
Hi Pal so pleased that you and Mrs pal enjoyed your break and that you both returned safely my friend, and thank you for buying yours truly a cup of tea,:WINK1: This is where having wings comes in handy
