Why is George Galloway moonlighting with you surely he earns enough jetting around the world :-) Jack McH
Today we lifted those big windows I stained up into place.. Using this bad boy that was one done, and the others at the front go. ...And all the time it hissed down and blew a gale...nail biting stuff at times!!
Just been browsing through your thread Nick. Brilliant photos of a real craftsman's work. You must get a real kick out of a lot of your jobs - doing something really worthwhile!
Thanks for that Dave I do enjoy my work and get into many places most folk only see from a distance. That house above for instance belongs to the Shale family...remember Glastonbury last year?...very sad
In fact the house only came down today....there was a delay after a workman cut into his thigh with a Stihl stonecutterNot much blood but stitches a plenty. Half down.... Not much could withstand this brute!
I won a free fish and chip lunchfor the lads today winning a bet with the Architect who said I couldn't match my mastic pointing with the stone and mortar pointing...what do you reckon? Before. During. After.
After paddling in mud for some time I have a couple of days in my favourite place...Hidcote Manor Gardens, and once more high up in a cherry picker sealing the Greenhouse.....Here we are setting it up and trying not to damage the borders
I stand corrected after a chat with one of the gardeners ....It's actually known as "The Plant Shelter"
You should be ashamed of yourself, Pal, of course it is! You can't expect someone who builds them and repairs them to know what they are!!!!!!
