    This is Mary Arden's Farmhouse,where I have just renovated the leaded light windows.

    and this is a Warwickshire wagon on display, that I can honestly say ,my Grandfather used because he worked for that Farmer from the age of ten.

      A country Manor Hotel a few minutes away..

      I took out a metal carsement window and fitted a fixed leaded light replacement...the Chef is just visible who made the best bacon sarnie and coffee I've had in a long time :coffee:

        Dormer work today...in the lovely sunny weather fitting D-G Units.
        The house is in Brize Norton and the airforce base there was mightily busy I can tell you...quite a few million quid on the move :mad:

        :dbgrtmb:That's a yes Ziggy.Strange type of seam to have here when it's surrounded by Limestone.

        Its a hard limestone, part of the jurassic belt that goes diagonally from Dorset to Northants. You can burn it to make a natural hydraulic lime, but I don't think the owner would like that:heehee:

        We got it down here, as well as the golden & cream coloured limestones. Our nearest Oolitic limestone is the Bath stone, which is a much finer Oolite than your Cotswold ones.

        Working on a Manor house high on the Cotswold Hills looking toward the Vale of Evesham
