          I have the task of decorating in here this week....a very small vestry...

          But it's in the magnificient Church of St Edward in Stow on the Wold ,high on the Cotswold Hills....:cool:

          and the vast selection of bakeries in the town is another plus:yummy:........BTW, I'm joking about that bit:D

                  So glad you all like the posts...I know how lucky I am to live and work in such a smashing area:)

                  The North Door is reckoned to be the inspiration in JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit,or so I was informed this afternoon by the Warden.

                    Oooh always love to see your photos Nick.. It is a wonderful old church & it has 8 bells too!! The oldest of which are #3 & #6 which date 1620 & cast by Henry Farmer.. :WINK1: I am not practised on 8 bells yet but will soon so hope to come & ring there one day Nick...                         Nick, if they had asked,I'm sure someone on Gardeners Corner would have advised them not to plant yew trees that close to the building.
