Pass the Parcel seed swap

If it does get too heavy I don't mind being a base for the seeds but then u would have to pay me postage to receive the seeds and postage to send them to me.

 

As long as it stays as seeds then I cant see how it would get too expensive and if it did then we could send it to someone just starting out with there garden to seriously lighten the load and besides as said before the idea is to take seeds and then replace with your own...(saying that if I get a parcel that ways a ton:lollol

 

Well volunteered Little Miss, if everyone posted you a list of all the seeds they had spare you then updated the list weekly/monthly printed it on here with the name of the donor then anyone requiring a certain packet could e-mail the donor direct and have the packet mailed to them he/she then informs you when they have non left and you cross them off the list.:thumb:

Can I just ask a couple extra questions about the seed bank? It is a good idea in principle and worth a good try so it should be helped along. How do we get the postage costs to you Little Miss? And do we get the seeds the way they were sent or say 4/5 people want some then will you repackage them?

Is the cut and pasting of the list not working properly because some people keep getting left off the bottom of the list-it happened with me when I did it earlier and I had to amend it?

 

I have been contacted by Ivory so the seed parcl should be on it's way to me.

LIttle Miss- Ivory got the parcel as a stopgap measure because Shobna was away for a while and didn`t send me her address-it was a blip, the list should be as above-just so as there is no further confusion I will start a new thread about the swap so we can keep them seperate and avoid confusion.

 

Why cant we do both, its a matter of choice, i know i will have loads of seeds left over and i would not want to fill the box with all of them ,so even after putting in a good amount of each, i would still have left overs and i still have the parent plants. so if i posted a list of surplus seeds ,i could send them second class at my expense and if i saw seeds i wanted they could do the same.
If you dont want to pay postage dont post on list ? we could set a mark where if it proves too expensive for some we could say sorry exceeded my post allowance

 

I think we can-I have posted a seperate thread for the Seed swap/Bank, and we can keep this thread exclusively for the pass the parcel.

 

OK now I'm even more confuzzled so the parcel goes to Ivory twice? which means that I do have to send my address to Ivory?

 

Ivory got it because Shobna didn`t send me her address-she has sent it to Shobna, so for this one time Shobna will send it to you.


And to be quite honest I am losing the will to live about this parcel.
