Mid-May Update. Amazing how many of my weekends are being "given away" by generous friends and family who need me to do favours for ther people. As a result the "to do" list doesn't go down half as fast as I need it to!!

Lovely stuff, it's looking great. We too have a no-go corner, it's called the 'industrial area'. I'm looking forward to dahlia pics.

Mid July and the dahlias are coming on strong. Glad I started them in February now.

Even the front garden is getting the dahlia treatment

Wow Paul! Your garden has certainly filled up since the last time we saw it, the garage roof too! :dbgrtmb:

And here's my latest little project. 3.5 acres of neglected land for my dahlia surplus. might have bitten off more than I can chew this time!

Blimey Paul that is massive - yes you're going to need a bigger spade! Are you really going to turn that into a garden?

Wow! That's a project and a half Paul, good luck with it. :dbgrtmb:

My first thought was security. A field full of pretty flowers are going to go awol.

Yes I been thinking that as well Sheal. There is a new housing development nearby and they might just view it as a local "resorce". Time will tell :_)

Back to my back garden at the end of September. Finally getting a good range of varieties and colours in between weeks of incessant rain.

Thanks for the stroll around the Dahlia's Paul. :dbgrtmb: You've certainly got an assortment there and I liked the pinkish lilac one that I think was to the right of the bed. :)

Have you made any progress with the field?
