    my sister in Italy has got a peacock and if the enclosure is not covered at the top he flies regularly across the river which is in front of the house but he makes a ship horn sound so he is easy traceable...:snork: They are really beautiful and elegant creatures.

      Yep, that was the sound ship horn noise. Well, no sign of him, hope his family found him.

      picking up a dozen eggs from the Amish farm one street over, I asked him if he lost a Peacock, he said no, but he did see one roaming across his field. He said his cousin two streets the other way saw him also. He said he's young, and wild. So that is the story.

      here is something strange. I have a wee little calendar in my kitchen. guess what animal was on the May month or shall I say bird. Yep a Peacock.

              OK here I am in front of my wee calendar in the kitchen. the May month shows a Pea Cock in front of a structure under the picture the title reads " Temple of Acolus, Kew, London."
              June is a pretty pic of another structure castle like with gardens, under that pic it reads " The Abbey House, Wiltshire" So I recall getting this calendar from a friend who lives in England.
              One of my "other" forums I am on have a gift exchange " secret santa" among them at Christmas so this calendar was part of the gift. Its fun, but the cost of mailing is nuts. OK so no Sasquach for June.
