Peony advice, please

Well, if you get the chance, Martin, find Baslow Village which is next to Chatsworth and have a look at St Anne's Church. It's right by the river and is a 13th century Church and a lot of my ancestors rest there. My Father and Brother are also resting there and it's a very pretty place. Opposite the Church is Charlie's Cafe and you can grab a cup of coffee there if you want.
Yes, JFK sister, Kathleen, lies at the rear in the Edensor Churchyard. Joseph Paxton, the Dukes and Duchess of Devonshire also lie there, and of course a fair number of my ancestors. I'm not sure if JFK was there at Kathleen's funeral or not to be honest, but I can't see him not being there. He also visited her grave in June 1963.

I drive from Cheshire to Baslow every 3 months or so, Martin, just to check on the places where my Dad and Brother lie and maintain them as it sometimes gets pretty overgrown on the river bank where they are.

 

Done!! I think my next drive up to Baslow will be in September as I was there in June. It would be great to see you if it's possible.
