yes, a few flowers have come out, wait to see if any set though.

As a bonus, a branch of the Peino plant snapped off about 2 months ago, that is now doing really well and has buds on that also, there is hope :D .

Yes, and don't they root easily. When you look at the main stems, they are already trying to throw roots out.

I think that would be its preferred method of growth, Spreading across the ground, rooting as it grows. You would need a big greenhouse though. [IMG]

Yeah I think so, but it hasn't got that, so it will have to do in pots ;) .

I did a job for a chap a couple of weeks back who had a fig tree, about 20'-23' tall , absolutely laden with figs, it was such a sight  .

Yeah they really can get big, seen some big ones in London of all places.
Anyway, I've got some pepinos that have set as well, cant think why mine didn't set till really late in the season last year. Should get the fruit a bit earlier than Jan this year, hopefully.

    Pete,

I also have found that there are a few trusses (if that's what they are called on pepino's), that 3 or 4 have set on :D , my first pepino is about 2" long now ;) .

Nathan, I've got three pepino plants this year, two which I have potted on and kept well watered, and one poor skrawny cutting which I really have neglected.
Guess what, the skrawny ones set four fruit, one of the others is just flowering and the other looks really heathy, dark green leaves and not a flower in sight.
I'll let you draw you own conclusions
