How are they doing Nathan, had any ripe fruit yet? I've got a few decent sized ones, picked some today.

Yes please - lets see what they look like!

 

They start out pale green, but as they ripen they get these purple streaks, taste a bit like a melon.

Very easy to grow,infact the plants spread and try to root stems, roots tend to appear along the stems.
Haven't found them particually heavy cropers as they dont always set the flowers, but have found that a bigger plant grows bigger fruit. I think they really need a lot of space, and are probably better grown as a perrenial in a large pot.

Plants are better, remind me next spring, I'll probably have some cutting material available, about March.
