Pepinos,How are they looking Pete?

They look really good Nick, but you can see that the fruit probably wont ripen before the autumn comes, come to that I think its here. :D
They taste just like melon dendy, but must be fully ripe I think, thats when they are a bit yellowish with purple stripes.

 

Well, here's hoping - and fingers crossed for next year! Looking forward to my first crop :D

You'll be looking forward to tasting them soon, then Nick! A special celebration pepino or two - or maybe they make good wine..... :rolleyes:
