    Welcome to Gardeners Corner:sign0016:

You're right, Wallflowers evolved to be cliff dwellers, living off almost no soil & getting their nutrients from bird poo.

reading these last few comments, I'm thinking that wallflowers are what I need for my sandy south-facing garden! Time to make a(nother!) note on my seed wish-list!

Wow can't believe it's been two years!

Well it paid off in the end and the two cuttings made two plants from which I propagated another 6 plants which I gave away. Unfortunately with the very very wet welsh weather mine both died this year. So I stole some cuttings from my mother in law from the plant i'd given her.
        Fingers crossed. :

:snork: I always view cuttings that I give to friends and family as my insurance policy, in case my plants die, or I move...

          tirednewdad99 Brilliant! Thanks again :)

So, I wait a couple of months and then begin taking cuttings.

Zigs - no wonder mine have continued to flower throughout this wretched weather ... they've got chicken poo surrounding them :heehee:
