Permanently seal up - or not?

    The top lefthand corner looks quite bright. I took photo`s of where the sun was in the garden around the winter solstice (21st december) to figure the best location (worst case scenario).
    In spring/autumn the shade gradually creeps up the garden in the afternoon. I have a photo somewhere of the garden in full shade with the greenhouse sitting in the last square of available sunshine just before sunset.

    Top left was my preferred location, current position was the compromise when my preferred location caused the domestic equivalent of WW3

    lol, mine is 70ft up the garden, swmbo may have been happier if it was measured in miles though ;)

      I would seal it all up (against mice, slugs and snails), but is that a manhole cover in the far right? If so you might want to consider haveing something removeable in that area just in case the cover has to be lifted.

      It is a manhole cover John - part of the reason that I was thinking of simply screwing some ply onto the inside of the wooden frame, that way if I need to remove it, it should only be a few screws.

        Yes FC a good plan. You'll probably never need to access it but then there is sods law :)
