Unusual to see mice outdoors, you sure they arent rats?

If there mice then buy some wooden little nipper mouse traps, bait them with choclate or oven chips and cover the trps using bricks or roof tile etc so as to protect your cat

No they are definitely mice-field mice ranging in colour from grey to nut brown. I have been totally relandscaping an enormous bed shifting about maybe a ton or so of soil a day for the last week so could have disturbed a nest and also possibly my cat found the nest and disturbed them. the problem with traps is that I just cant touch mice at all, alive is dreadful but dead and crunched up-man I don`t know how you do it.

Oddly nut I am fine with rats, I cant explain it but its the size and the jumping i cant cope with about mice. You know where you are with rats, but those mice are shifty and filthy pi55ing everywhere.
