Pet Hates,Things That Annoy You.

Giant trampolines......
People who walk through a door in front of you and just let it close in your face.....
Giving way to other drivers and getting no aknowledgement.......

and that's just for starters .........

 

People (particularly youths) walking infront of you or towards staring at their phones and stop dead to read or text something and walk into you. They look at you as if it's yor fault for being in their way. Ban the phones!!!!!!

 

I let people walk into me nowadays especially in supermarkets, and just say "pay attention to others"

 

I'm getting to the age where if it's a male .... I say: "Thank you"

 

If I am standing waiting somewhere and somebody barges into me/past me, I turn and apologise sweetly, "Sorry was I in your way"

 

I hate listening to other people's music, whether in the doctors surgery, a passing car or in someone's drive. Music to me is a curse.

Phones again! people in restaurants pubs etc who put their phones on the table immediately they sit down (why?) and eat and use their phones at the same time.
It is now treated as a life support system. Ban the phones!

Had my pet hate happen this afternoon, people who walk towards you on the pavement in twos or threes and expect you to walk on the road or muddy grass to get past them!!!!!! whats wrong with walking one behind the other so we can all use the pavement, grrrrr, it annoys me so much I find myself just walking straight at them these days they'll move in the end

I know many parents will disagree with me here, but I hate it when you're in a shop and someone with a pram decides to barricade the aisle off with the pram when people are trying to get through and when you ask them to move they don't take any notice.. that's particularly rude and annoying.

 

On the same note, people who, when wanting to cross a busy road, stand patiently at the side as per the green cross code. While they or on the pavement, they are seemingly oblivious to the fact that they have just parked their child ON THE BUSY ROAD.

 

Ive seen that too.. it's not everyone of course, but usually the ones who do, broadly fit the same or a similar description!

 

There's obviously only three of us who can live without these annoyances Clive. I have one only for emergency use should I need assistance ... I have NEVER used one to phone someone to talk to them ... Heaven forbid should I need assistance ... I can phone my friends from home in my leisure time but I really prefer to speak to people in person than on the telephone anyway so only telephone to make a personal get-together ...

PS I DO eliminate those who NEED one for their business / livliehood. xx

 

I always have a my tablet on the table in a restaraunt because I'd be looking on Gardeners Corner! (phew got away with that one!)
