Thanks MF, yes I do miss her even though it was only a couple of months, at the end she just couldn't seem to keep awake, and having a dog made it difficult to take her indoors, so she had a bed undercover on the alotment.
That is until I realised that it was something serious and took her to the vet.

[IMG] I think she knew you were taking care of her Pete & was content with that.. She didn't suffer, & that is the important thing... [IMG] Did she keep the mice out of your allotment shed while she was there??? :D I have dogs too, but used to have a cat who lived into his twenties. Cancer took him in the end too... :( Mind you, every dog we had while "Little" the cat was around was terrified of him..!!!! He was a farm cat.. So just a tad wild all his life..!!

So sorry to hear the news, Pete, especially me being a cat person! At least she was with someone caring at the end and they do know when their time has come.

Our Skwij always slept under the olive tree by the side of the house until a few days before he died and then he moved to under the almond tree .. which is where he is buried! [IMG]

Bless her, she was a very pretty cat, and bless you for being her guardian angel till the end! [IMG]

Right here's a complete falure, you remember the Morrisons sweet potato that I planted and looked promising, well I knocked it out its pot today and this is all I had.
Tubers starting to form but maybe a bigger pot would have helped, the caterpillar attack certainly didn't.

The adenium obesum seed that I planted in April has done well, but I dont think I'll be getting flowers next year.

The trachy waggie has set masses of seed this year so maybe if anyone wants any later on hopefully I can supply.

I hate to say it, Pete, but some of your sweet potatoes are trying to compete with Roders' friends' vegetables! :D :D

OK FANCY, when they ripen I'll try to remember, apparently, I've been told they wont be ripe until next spring, so remind me about March.
