    Hi Marley Farley,your Charley is gorgeous ,this is great seeing these babies,you have made my day. Marge your Daisy is like my Charlie,he is three in october but i still call him baby.

    [​IMG] Glad you had a good day Gogs... :D My Charley is about 9yrs... I say about, as he was a rescue dog. They think he was dumped on Westbury Hill. Common dumping ground.... :mad: He had been trained for the gun, but was/is very scatty & has a hard mouth.... :eek: So I guess he was no good for them.... He is the most wonderful dog, very big, but he is an English Springer, & is fantastic with kids... :rolleyes: He has his own fan club in the village.. They all call his name when they see him going by & he sings away to them. Then there is usually a bit of argy bargy, as they all have to throw his ball...!!!!!!!! He is my "special boy"... His tail never stops wagging.... Great company... :D

    :D Her name is Smidge & she is a 17.1/2 yr old Jack Russell..!! She is blind, deaf & arthritic, but still insists on one walk a day....!!! :cool: :D

    [​IMG] Yes it is old but she still has plenty of life in her yet, despite everything..!!! :D My cat was twenty when he died..!! :eek: He was a puss & a half that one..!!!!! :D

    MF -thats very old !! She obviously has had a great life with you and living to such a grand old is the reward [​IMG] My little sprockers still hanging on in there and still jogs round the field with us every day! She has the odd bad day but she is happy [​IMG]

    [​IMG] Yes, Marge it is wonderful the way they keep going isn't it... She still seems to have plenty of interest in life... A friend of mines little "Jack" lived to 23..!!!! So am hoping Smidge has a happy inings too...!!! ;)

    I am sitting here looking at these doggy pics again, grinning to myself.
    Our Jake (ESS) is 10yrs old he was a rescue dog, he had his problems ,had quite a distrust of people but with patience & lots of love he learned to trust again.
    We also had a cat (WINSTON) who lived to 20yrs old,he was a cat & a half also,its 5yrs since we lost him ,but will never forget him.
    Sorry guys i get carried away talking about animals!

    [​IMG] Have had many rescue dogs over the years.. They all come with their problems, but with love care & attention it is amazing what they can turn out to be.. It is very rewarding... ;) :D Our cat lived into his twenties. Cancer took him in the end, but all the dogs we had while he was alive were totally frightened of him. He always called the shots.. Was a kitten from a farm so always had that wild & sometimes vicious streak in him... :D

    All our cats are from farm stock or almost ferral. They do have attitude but all have been softies! Love 'em! [​IMG]
