I bought some of these too, and will be potting up this weekend. How far apart should they go in a pot? (I may have the same question about a container 'collection' I bought from SR. It's a pity they web site doesn't offer advice.) By pot, I do mean pot, btw, not hanging basket.

Thanks for such an informative reply @BenCotto, I feel inspired to have a go. Good luck with the Italian talk

@REMF33, I read instructions and always think ‘pfft … too far apart’. I’m almost always wrong. Anyway, the 18” diameter copper pot by the shed has 4 plants, the 16” terracotta pot has three and the 6 -9” pots have one in each.

In the 18” hay baskets I put 8 plants and I also have a sort of tiered stack of three 2’ troughs with two plants in each. In open ground I would place them about 12” apart.

Here's one of mine that survived the winter (there are another two). I took down the basket that it was in and put it in the pot with fresh compost last weekend, and it's already producing flowers. And I have some cuttings taken maybe 6 or 8 weeks ago, ready to go into baskets.

Once again I forgot to move the baskets of Red Velour to a more sheltered spot for the winter. Of four baskets (two full and two wall baskets), three survived and the one that didn't was the wall basket that was under an overhang so it was probably dryness rather than cold that did for it.

You’re going to have a fantastic display @BenCotto with all those containers and pots, I’m looking forward to your photos in the summer

An update on my May 17 post. They’re not yet at peak blowsiness but possibly there will be just a little interest in seeing how the petunias have grown in the past month or so

20240625_141247.jpg Your display looks fantastic @Ben Cotto and you were correct in your reply to my previous post ... my red velour that I grew from seed gathered from last year's plants are growing and starting to flower, hooray! The true colour hasn't come out in this photo!

No, just leave them. They chop off their own heads.

Set three. I’ve shown the state of development on May 17th and June 25th. Here are the petunias at peak fulsomeness on July 26th
