Robert - thats brilliant - and a lot of hard work. I am sure you will get an enormous sense of satisfaction - both now - and also way into the future, every time you look at it.

Hmmm, getting fed up with the rain. No sooner do I put a mix on and empty it into the barrel, and it tips it down.

The forecast for today was supposed to be fine.

Oh well, better put the kettle on until it clears. [IMG]

    All the best

Impressive - you must look at what you've done and purr, when your not dodging showers that is.

Any thoughts on what your going to plant under that lovely holly tree?

I do sit down every now and then and look at it and sigh contentedly. [IMG]

No idea what is going under the holly tree yet, will grass it for now and put some snow drop bulbs in. Then work it out over the winter.

I need to do a whole bunch of research first.

I've got a small holly, and have planted pernettyas under it. Amittedly, that was an anti-rabbit thing, but it might work for you.......

Not got too man rabbits here, but do have a mole or two. Nearly got one with my spade the other day, gave him a damn good scare. Serves him right for digging up my garden.

I might give the patch under the holly tree to the children to use as their garden. They already have a good patch in the bed at the top, and they love it so my give them a shady area so they can learn a bit more, or is that being mean?
